True started with a passion for craftsmanship and problem-solving.
Founder Rob Meyers grew up in Dayton, Ohio, in a historic 1837 farmhouse that was constantly under renovation. From a young age, he learned the ins and outs of home repairs, remodeling, and construction, helping his stepfather fix everything from support beams to roofing.
After working in mortgage banking and facilities management, Rob decided to turn his passion into a business. What started as helping friends with home renovations quickly grew into a full-scale construction company in 2019 with a reputation for quality craftsmanship and exceptional service.
